A Blessed Thanksgiving

I think back on this and it was still a blessed Thanksgiving in a strange way.

The table was set with all abundance. I sent my oldest son 22 and his girlfriend to try and catch up with a friend of there's who didn't have any place to go for Thanksgiving. On the way, a car pulled out in front of them, and their car went into a deep ditch. It ripped my son's nose almost off and the girl had a broken arm and a dislocated hip, but they were alive.

At first I struggled with the "Why God?" scenario. All things for a purpose. They went through and are still going through medical challenges, but they are ALIVE.

I think back and know this was the most blessed Thanksgiving of all, and one I will never forget. I give thanks to God who let them live on that day.
